Fahrzeugstandort: Bovenden, Frame no. LAV.750F*10619 \\Engine no. 750*10724* \\ \\- One of the best road bikes of its time \\- Nice used condition, characterful engine \\- No original papers available only copies of german papers! \\ \\One of the best sports road bikes of the 1970s, the Laverda 750 SF had an overhead-cam twin-cylinder engine, developed from the 650 version which preceded it, providing plenty of torque and a wealth of sensations,. Unlike some of its contemporaries, it had good brakes: the letters 'SF' stood for 'Super Freni' and it had particularly large brake drums. The engine with its angular design was mounted on a tubular frame, which was strengthened from 1973. Its racing version, the 750 SFC, whipped around the circuits and won many endurance races. \\ \\The 750 SF we are presenting, in Laverda's distinctive shade of orange, was probably registered new in Germany and doubtless stayed there until it joined the collection, as it was bought from an Italian enthusiast who lived in the country. It was, moreover, one of the last bikes to arrive, entering the collection in 2015, and it still has its German title. Equipped with Borrani WM wheels and Laverda exhaust pipes, it is in used condition, with 39,010km on the clock. It is an interesting representative of one of the best alternatives to Japanese bikes from the 1970s, when the English makes had already lost their dominant position.
